Portfolio Management Analyst

AERMOR is seeking qualified candidates who will provide financial document support in the area of: project management, and contract performance measurement including policy review, requirements analysis, planning and administrations, cost estimating, control systems implantation, performance monitor, data analysis, reis assessment and status reporting. 


Responsibilities Include:

  • Collect and analyze performance data
  • Conduct business and systems alignment studies including capability analysis that enable end-to-end portfolio objectives to be realized
  • Conduct portfolio management business process re-engineering activities that can be used to improve overall operations
  • Perform periodic assessments of systems, applications and services to identify opportunities for portfolio management process improvement.
  • Develop reports and provide program improvement recommendations to the government client based on findings
  • Provide compliance assessments of clients’ financial management enterprise systems with applicable Laws, Regulations and Polices including program performance review actions
  • Assess and quantify cost/schedule/technical status and risk; evaluate trends, project cost completion estimates
  • Participate in program management reviews and financial administration meetings
  • Prepare and coordinate inputs for acquisition documentation, status reports briefings and information inquires
  • Train new staff (internal and external) on concepts, analysis techniques, and related reports
  • Develop and monitor all financial metrics and resource expenditures
  • May be designated to perform other evaluations of spending plans, budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Establishes and maintain electronic and/or hard-copy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing
  • Assist with the accuracy of Department of the Navy (DON) Applications and Database Management System (DADMS)
  • Assist with the input of acquisition requests into the Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS)​

​Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Navy/Government contracts
  • Experience supporting the DoD information technology (IT) portfolio governance process
  • Experience performing IT portfolio analysis and provide subject matter expert recommendations for input to formal reviews of portfolios
  • Experience conducting programmatic analyses and evaluation of IT portfolio applications
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Must have organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
  • High attention to detail is required.
